Bentley OpenUtilities CONNECT Edition Help

Edit Feature Properties

The Feature Editor allows the user to review and modify the non-graphical attributes (properties) and relationships of a water feature.

Features that make up the standard Water Standard Data Model have their properties organized in tabs. In Bentley OpenUtilities Designer there are General, Tracking, Elevation, Relationhips, and Dimension tabs. The first three tabs consist of data properties.

  • The General tab contains properties that are domain specific to the selected feature.
  • The Tracking tab contains editor name and timestamp information automatically recorded when placing or editing a feature.
  • The Elevation tab can be used to record z-value information of water network features, as well as sub-surface utility (SUE) quality information.
Note: Annotations are affected through Property Based Annotation (PBA) rules if linked properties in the General tab are changed.
